Note: - “Les Phénomènes” is a series of fifteen lithographic prints created by Jean Dubuffet between 1958 and 1959. In this work, the artist explores textures and materials drawn from the natural world—such as sand, stone, and bark—transforming them into abstract prints. Rejecting any traditional narrative or figuration, Dubuffet seeks here to capture the richness of reality in its rawest, most elemental aspects, drawing on an aesthetic of the imperceptible. This series is fully in line with his quest for a radical art, free from academic conventions. Please request condition reports prior to the sale: they are not included in the lot descriptions.
