Silver onion watch, domed plain silver case, chased and enameled silver dial, hours in Roman numerals, graduated in Arabic numerals for each 5-minute period, finely chased and signed SAMSON, mechanism held by balusters, finely chased cock and plate, plate signed Samson, London, 12112. Outer silver case worked with repoussé of a scene depicting a knight and his horse next to a man holding a purse in an architectural setting. Master clockmaker J.
