This painting is similar to another version sold at Hôtel Drouot on November 24, 2023 and reproduced in the reference work by Mons, Sainsaulieu, 118. This work was recently rediscovered in a private French collection, among other works by Henri Guérard, Jean Raymond Guérard and Jeanne GUÉRARD-GONZALES presented in the same sale.
