Idris Khan is a contemporary British artist, born in 1978, known for his works which superimpose images, texts or musical scores to create dense, meditative meditative compositions. His work Wagner Parsifal is a chromogenic print mounted on aluminum, where Idris Khan has superimposed the entire score of Richard Wagner's opera Wagner's opera Parsifal. This process creates an almost abstract image, in which the layers of text and music and musical notes merge into a visually rich and dense surface. This work invites the viewer to reflect on how time, memory and repetition transform a work, creating a new form of daring. a work, creating a new form of aesthetic and contemplative experience. This was the last work to be delivered to André Bernheim, a great music lover with a passion for the works of Richard Wagner. Richard Wagner's works, and in particular his Parsifal.
