Note: - "Les Phénomènes" is a suite of fifteen lithographic prints produced by Jean Dubuffet between 1958 and 1959. In this work, the artist explores textures and materials from the natural world, such as sand, stone and bark, transposing them into abstract impressions. Rejecting traditional narrative or figuration, Dubuffet seeks to capture the richness of reality in its rawest, most elemental aspects, drawing on an aesthetic of the imperceptible. This series is fully in line with his quest for a radical art free of academic conventions. Please ask for the condition reports before the sale: they are not included in the sheets.
