The latter discovered the small village of Puisseguin in 1930. There, he developed a passion for one of the châteaux in the area. He bought Château Guibeau in 1936. But he also fell in love with a neighbor, Yvette. She was the daughter of the owner of Château Guibot La Fourvieille. Their marriage would later unite the two estates in this beautiful Puisseguin Saint Emilion appellation. Henri Emile's son, Henri Bourlon, was to run the winery for a long time.
