Soup bowl or sugar jar on a foot in solid clear mold-blown a - Lot 105
Soup bowl or sugar jar on a foot in solid clear mold-blown and cut crystal. Flared neck with cut filet above a cut gadroon decoration of olives. Hot-glued foot, attributed to Le Creusot circa 1830/1840. H: 12 cm. Diam: 13 cm. This sugar pot is similar in every way to our own: same shape, same dimensions, same technique as the sugar pot from the Montcenis crystal works in Le Creusot in the Musée National de Sèvres. Their example is decorated with "drapé", ours with gadroons (see attached photo for information). Please ask for condition reports before the sale: they are not included in the listing.
