Iran, Kachan, 12th-13th century Siliceous ceramic jug with a slightly faceted body, a handle, a wide cylindrical pouring spout on the neck and a thin angled spout on the body, the neck decorated with a line in relief. The whole is covered with a monochrome turquoise glaze (fractures and restorations, probably badly missing and almost entirely repainted body, broken handle, broken spout).
