CHINA - 18th-19th centuries - Lot 304
CHINA - 18th-19th centuries Slightly flared cylindrical snuff bottle in stoneware molded in very slight relief with a landscape. Two lion-head handles supporting rings. Imitation jasper glass stopper. H. 6.4 cm (Minor chips) Provenance : - Jutheau sale, October 19, 1990, lot 75 and reproduced in the catalog Note: - "By an abuse of language, it is mentioned that the sale of June 10 was "under the aegis of Viviane Jutheau" whereas it is a tribute to Viviane Jutheau. All the snuffboxes presented under n- 251 to 392 (with the exception of n-342, as indicated in the catalog) were acquired at sales organized by Me Jutheau. We have not been able to trace the provenance of lots 365, 392 and 336. All the snuffboxes come from the collection of a single Parisian connoisseur. " Please ask for condition reports before the sale: they are not included in the listings. Expert : Cabinet Portier Alice Jossaume contact@cabinetportier.com +33 (0)1 48 00 03 41 - Please note that all the snuff bottles have been measured without the stopper (only the body)/Veuillez noter que les tabatières ont été mesurées sans les bouchons (juste le corps de la tabatière).
