[MERVAL] Documents relatifs à la Fondation du Havre, collected and published by Stephano de Merval. Rouen, 1875, in-8 bound in full basane, spine ribbed and decorated with gilt fillets, title page, triple fillet framing on the boards, large interior roulette, red head, presented in slipcase. Signed binding by Haas. An exceptional copy from the library of the Marquis de Biencourt, who discovered these documents when he inventoried the chartier of the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, in which he found numerous bundles from the estate of Guyon Le Roy, seigneur du Chillou, vice-admiral of France, first captain of the city of Françoise de Grâce.
