Very few edition of this work (Less than 10 copies) Base in black marble of Belgium of origin Bears the signature of the Artist at the back of the drape Height without the marble : 55 cm Length : 50 cm Depth : 18 cm Thickness of the marble : 6 cm Bibliography : Marcel Bouraine is a French sculptor, student of Joseph Alexandre Falguière. He exhibited at the Salon des Tuileries in 1922. Considered as one of the most representative sculptors of the Art Deco of the 20s. Member of the Society of French Artists (SAF) Collaborates with Gabriel Argy-Rousseau for the creation of glass sculptures and Pierre le Faguays also sculptor. Two monumental sculptures presented at the Universal Exhibition of 1937 in Paris.
